Skills and Capability Modules
1. What a skill means in Prodia
A skill is a reusable operational module that provides the Agent with:
- domain understanding
- analytical method
- usage rules
- response preference
- execution boundary
2. Why skills matter
Without skills, the same model must rediscover how to answer each scenario.
With skills, Prodia can reuse scenario-specific operational logic across roles and plants more consistently.
3. Examples of skill-oriented specialization
| Scenario | Skill contribution |
|---|---|
| Production review | prioritize output, OEE, anomaly summary, and shift comparison |
| Yield diagnosis | focus on defects, process correlation, and cause ranking |
| Fault analysis | emphasize downtime impact, Pareto, and maintenance direction |
| OEM support | reuse field-service experience and recommended troubleshooting paths |
4. Relationship to capabilities
Capabilities are the callable functions.
Skills are the reusable industrial logic that helps Agent choose, combine, and explain those capabilities in the right way for the scenario.
